Product Details

With no steel edge, the Breidablikk is developed for those who hunt with a dog or simply want the companionship of a dog on trips to the backcountry. With a sidecut of 22mm and soft tip, make it ski easy to turn; it’s a ski easily to control in demanding terrain, offering excellent flow on deeper snow.

The Breidablikk has a sintered base that can be waxed and Skinlock, making it ready for an X-Skin to be instantly installed for efficient climbing. This makes for a ski extremely versatile ski, whatever the terrain or conditions.

An excellent choice for long winter hikes in moderate terrain – a faithful companion in the mountain.

Ski length

Ski length is determined on the basis of body length and weight. The table here is intended as an aid and must not be followed slavishly. Skiing skills, terrain, weight, packing and individual needs/habits are factors that influence the choice of length.

Body length(cm)Weight (kg)Ski length  (cm)
150-160– 60170
160-17060-75180
170-18070-85190
180-19080-95200
190-20095 210

General advice: Skiing in rough terrain requires shorter skis than open mountain ranges. For beginners, it will often be easier with short skis. If you only walk in groomed tracks, length does not matter in terms of how well / badly you float in the snow, then it is instead the tension that is important. If the person is lighter than average, the user should consider shorter skis, and longer skies if the user is heavier. If you often go with heavy packing, the skis should be a little longer.
